In December 2019, the Classics Club had its inaugural trip to the British Museum. En route to Bloomsbury, we included a walking tour of London admiring a number of buildings which have been inspired by Classical architecture such as this one in Covent Garden.

Once at the museum, we explored the Greek and Roman galleries and were able to examine closely some of the beautiful artefacts which I had mentioned in my Classical art and archaeology talks.

There was so much to see and enjoy that we returned to the museum in February 2020 for a further tour!
