Classics Club Reading Group

The second term of Classics Club has begun and the reading group is well underway. We are reading Homer's Iliad in translation.

We meet fortnightly at Burwash Common Pavilion - we enjoy coffee, cake and plenty of discussion about Homeric heroes, the gods, mythology, Ancient Greek culture and daily life.

Unfortunately, due to Covid-19 we have had to suspend our meetings for the foreseeable future. However, I am currently investigating ways for us to 'meet' online perhaps via video conferencing or similar.

In the meantime, I shall be contacting everyone with reading recommendations, etc. ! Wishing everyone well and hoping you all stay healthy and safe.
